    Are you a passionate Care Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? Or are you an experienced Senior Care Assistant/team leader looking for your next challenge?

    We at Priory Adult Care are currently looking for enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant to join our facility situated on the outskirts of Bradford. Cooper house is an 80 bedded residential home, specialising in older adults with dementia.

    The role of Senior Care Assistant will be both varied and rewarding. Your duties will include: carrying out medication administration, personal care, supervisions of support teams, supporting the Unit Manager with developing and implementing support plans and audits . There will also be involvement around staffing; coaching and mentoring of current staff, inducting and training of new starters and shift planning.

    The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience working within a similar role and will be expected to hold at least a NVQ/QCF level 2 in Health and Social Care and will be willing to progress through Career Pathways to complete their Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop further; the Priory group can offer further NVQ/QCF qualifications to management level (Level 5), a full mandatory training program, including medication training if required.
