An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and passionate individual with a drive to succeed, to join a global company at their site in Dungannon.
As HR Officer you will provide technical HR expertise in a professional HR function and provide a proactive service across our various sites within the Dungannon, Ballymena and Craigavon areas, therefore some travel between sites is required.
Some of the role duties and responsibilities are listed below; To provide day to day HR support to a range of leaders and employees across various locations in NI.
Provide training, coaching and support to managers on HR policies, procedures and legal requirements, ensuring fairness and consistency. Deliver effective recruitment, selection and retention solutions, all within HR best practice and legislative guidelines. Manage employee administration.Complete weekly, monthly HR reports and KPI information and reports required Monitor and assist mangers in the application of the companys attendance management policy liaising with occupational health where applicable.
Where applicable provide a day to day interface with local union reps and build positive relationships with them. Ensure the employee performance is regularly reviewed in line with company procedures. Monitor and support leaders with employee relations in line with current employment legislation. Carry out any adhoc project work in line with business need.Essential Desirable Proven HR Officer experience IT literate HR data base experience Highly developed organisational skills CIPD equivalent qualification Good communication skills Full driving license Admin background Previous HR experience within the food industry experience Proven unionised environment experience Previous experience of time and attendance and payroll systems Skills:
