    Our Corporate and Commercial department has a varied mix of work across both the public sector and private clients, predominately in sectors including health, local government, emergency services and social housing.

    We advise on projects from "cradle to "grave". We design and structure projects.

    We also advise on the full range of disputes that can arise out of procurements including procurement disputes, design and construction disputes, operational disputes particularly in relation to payment disputes and fire safety disputes and termination disputes.

    We advise on a number of market leading matters in the PFI / Projects / Infrastructure arenas are currently advising on a number of schemes within the NHS New Hospital Programme and we have market-leading experience of advising on terminating PFI contracts in the health and emergency services sectors.

    The Corporate and Commercial Litigation Division are looking for a Senior/Principal Associate to be based from either our London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester or Winchester offices.

    The role will involve leading complex commercial disputes.

    Those disputes might include PFI / Projects / infrastructure disputes, procurement law disputes, IP disputes, competition investigations, and construction disputes.

    The role involves mainly advising public sector clients in sectors including healthcare, local government, emergency services and social housing.
    Specializes in complex commercial disputes;

    • Will take early responsibility for handling High Court litigation and all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution;
    • Will be positive and flexible, is able to prioritise work to meet deadlines, and relishes attention to detail.

    The role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills and will require candidates to demonstrate the ability to build relationships internally and externally and drive forward the development of our corporate and commercial litigation practice.
