    We are Compre, a leading legacy specialist with over 30 years of experience in the acquisition and management of discontinued and legacy non-life insurance and reinsurance business.

    We have a unique opportunity in our Data & Technology team for a Data Quality Analyst, known internally as an Integrations Analyst.

    This is a fundamental role in ensuring the quality of our data is at an exceptional level, enabling colleagues to use information and data with confidence.

    Insurance experience is required for this role, as you'll be ensuring both policy and claims information is correctly recorded and supported, facilitating accurate claims adjusting, and enabling identification of reserving issues and accurate downstream data provisioning across the business.

    If you've got some insurance claims and decent Microsoft Excel experience, and are more interested in starting a data-focussed career, it could be ideal.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Review data received in relation to integrating new business, taking relevant action to enhance data quality.· Manage electronic and physical documents received in relation to new business, ensuring that contract and claims documents are accessible as needed by the relevant teams.· Enhance claims information by re-categorising loss information, so that correct reserving methodology can be applied by the actuarial team.· Maintain a time-lined plan to achieve deadlines for completion of data cleansing activities.· Identify suggestions for team efficiency through appropriate phasing and prioritisation of work, and identifying important or repeated issues in data to assist in improving overall processes.· Manage ad-hoc requests from teams to assist in various assignments, to include commutation support and helping with specific exercises to support the commutation team.

    Skills Knowledge and Expertise



    • Right to work in this location
    • Previous experience of working with data within an insurance/re-insurance environment, suitable for candidates with underwriting or claims handling experience across varies insurance classes.
    • Excellent data skills and proficient with MS Office packages, specifically Excel, and basic knowledge writing simple SQL queries would be advantageous but not essential.
    • Results driven and able to work to deadlines and meet required targets, completing work in an accurate and timely manner with strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Confident and proactive, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience in integration/migration of data is desired but not essential.
