Projects Logistics Co-Ordinator

Key Duties to Include.

Assessing clients' needs and providing clients with accurate information
Identifying the most appropriate form of transit and identifying and mitigating potential risk
Oversee and assist in the preparation and presentation of quotations for clients, recording the information on the Company databases and following up to secure business
Booking shipments with hauliers, ocean lines and airlines
Completing AWB's, bills of lading, customs entries and identification and preparation of all other documentation required for export and reimport
Liaising and updating clients, overseas agents, and suppliers as necessary
Supervise and monitor through transit corridor with hauliers, ocean lines, airlines and overseas partners
Ensuring correct customs procedures are being used
Passing of supplier's invoices
Supervise and assist cost accruals and charging of shipments including the sending out of invoice and back up documentation to the relevant party

Hours
Monday to Friday - monitoring of shipments is sometimes required to be performed out of hours

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in an operational environment (multi modal would be an asset)
Aviation Security Training level CO Level (can be given by the Company)
Satisfactory CRC check and satisfactory 5 year background checks and eligibility to work in the UK
Full, clean driving licence
Positive, 'cando' attitude
Able to organise themselves and work independently
Ability to manage competing priorities
