    We are currently seeking a Vice President of Human Resources for the EMEA region.

    This position will lead all human resources initiatives for EMEA and oversee approximately 400 team members in our depots and office locations across Europe.

    It is a crucial role on the President's leadership team.
    The ideal candidate must be able to operate both strategically and in a fast-paced, hands-on manner.

    This role requires progressive experience in the human resources field, with expertise in overseeing all aspects of HR generalist processes in various global locations and previous management of human resources staff.

    Work LocationThis is a hybrid role that will allow you to work from home along with being in-person at the office.

    Develop and recommend strategies to support business operations and growth and align with the strategic direction.

    Serve as the subject matter expert on employment standards and practices, making recommendations to the Leadership team for EMEA's programs, policies, and processes.

    Support assigned locations and business leaders in recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, counseling, disciplining staff, performance management, compensation, productivity strategies, problem-solving, and implementing change.

    Develop and train the HR staff, providing guidance, coaching, and ensuring their professional growth and development.

    Implement and champion employee engagement programs, lead the employee engagement survey regionally, gather data, and make recommendations for local initiatives to improve the employee experience.

    Drive the execution of HR employee activities, including talent acquisition and recruiting, career development, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management.

    Partner with Talent & Development to deploy learning and development programs that enhance workforce capabilities, foster growth, and address strategic priorities.

    Manage investigations and handle sensitive employee relations concerns, involving legal counsel as needed.
    Oversee and manage the EMEA HR budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
    Align and oversee rewards and benefits systems for the region.

    Collaborate with the CEO and VP of HR for NA to craft a comprehensive global people strategy that aligns with the company's goals.

    Cultivate and reinforce company culture by partnering closely with the senior leadership team to define and promote company values.
    Oversee the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in HR processes.

    Ensure compliance with country-specific legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating changes, enforcing adherence, and advising management on necessary actions.


    Qualifications:
    A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
    Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in human resources.
    In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices across Europe.
    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others.
    Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
    Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
    Outstanding ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
