    Job summary

    Due to the retirementof one of our Partners we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated new GPPartner to join our successful, profitable, friendly and well-respectedPractice.

    Main duties of the job

    We arelooking for a GP Partner to work between 6-8 clinical sessions per week. Working days and surgery times are flexibleby negotiation. The Practice is highlyprofitable and also pays NHS Pension and Medical Defence fees. We offer six weeks annual leave and one week studyleave pro-rata. We have no out of hours orweekend working. Newly qualified GPs welcome.

    About us

    We are based in Kirkham, a market town between Preston and Blackpool and cover a mixed urban and rural area on the Fylde coast. We have a list size of 9,700 patients and use EMIS Web. We own our own building and have an extensive primary care team comprising four GP Partners, two salaried GPs, three Nurse Practitioners, a Paramedic, a Pharmacist, a Pharmacy Technician, three Practice Nurses and two Health Care Assistants. We also have close links to the local District Nursing team. We pride ourselves on our excellent access to services through a well matured triage system, coordinated by our Nurse Practitioners. We are active members of our local Primary Care Network, perform well in QOF and rated Good by the CQC.
