Fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Assistant Project manager to come and work alongside of experienced project managers to help with for delivering a range of projects within Amey Secure Infrastructure Business Unit.

The project portfolio consists of a range of projects which vary in scale from large scale complex construction to lifecycle maintenance projects, always ensuring Safety and Client satisfaction are paramount.

To satisfy our portfolio of works, we are expanding our Project Team creating an excellent opportunity to join this key growth sector within Amey's Secure Infrastructure Division.

What will this role involve?:


  • Providing clerical support to project managers that help them perform their duties quickly and accurately
  • Following up with clients to understand their needs, taking minutes during project meetings and analysing statistical data
  • Assisting in updating and monitoring progress through programme database and attending live sites.
  • Preparing performance and ranking reports and weekly progress updates.
  • Communicating with team members through presentations and educating them on marketing tools and strategies
  • Assisting in data collection, development and analysis to enable effective decision making and goal setting.
  • Communicating with clients to cultivate and maintain good relationships
  • Assisting in the development and implantation of action plans to enable proper time, resource, and management.

What are we looking for?:


  • Previous experience in projects is essential
  • Previous project administration experience is essential for this position.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Accuracy is key within this role to ensuring quality of excellence is achieved throughout the life of projects
  • Good team player and collaborative working
  • This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
