Here at University Hospitals Birmingham, we have an exciting opportunity for an 18-month fixed term full-time training post in Echocardiography.

This is part of the Echocardiography Training Programme developed by the National School of Healthcare Science and funded by Health Education England.

This post will be based at Heartlands hospital, however may involve travel to any of the other centres within UHB for specialist training.

The hospital itself is a busy DGH with 6 echo rooms, 10 echocardiographers and offers a range of Echocardiographer-led services.

These include:
bubble, LV contrast, valve clinics, Echocardiographer led-trans-oesophageal echocardiogiography and stress echo. Our department offers a 4 day working week between the hours of 8-6pm
