- Relevant qualifications and experience i.e. BSc or higher in a quantitative field eg STEM, Computer Science or similarcertifications
- Demonstrable experience across multiple facets of the data landscape such as Data Modelling, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytical Applications, Data Science
- Experience with Python and ELT frameworks such as AWS Glue, DBT etc.
- Strong understanding of agile practices in both discovery and delivery
- Strong understanding of TDDand its benefits
- Awareness of modern technology techniques and the similarities between patterns such as Domain Driven Design (DDD), Data Vault 2.0 and Data Mesh
- Appetite for continual experimentation & learning
- Previous experience in London Market pricing, Enterprise Risk Modelling or actuarial concepts
- Understanding of Geospatial analysis and RMS data structures
- Ability to develop analytical dashboards in an appropriate tool (Dash / Shiny / Streamlit)
- Experience of AWS and Terraform
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience of Python API frameworks - Flask and/or FastAPI
