We're currently seeking a Production Operative - Test & Packing to join us.

This role will focus on:

Ensuring compliance with the Company Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Policies, reporting any potentially dangerous issues/faults to your direct Team Leader or Production Manager including but not limited to maintaining a safe and clean work environment

To ensure quality products are produced in the required quantity, on time, and at the lowest possible cost, in a manner in keeping with the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures of the company

Demonstrate a positive attitude to training and personal development

Monitor the performance of the process ensuring maximum output is achieved at all times

Carry out and document the correct quality control checks for each job performed, completing all production paperwork

Work as a team to ensure departmental targets, company targets and customer deadlines are achieved

  • Testing of product for leaks using Hydrostatic, High Pressure and Air under
- water test rigs

  • Inspecting the quality of the product
  • Ensure that the product matches customer order details
  • Using measure equipment i.e. verniers, callipers, tapes and pressure rigs
  • Packing to specification and weighing goods for shipment
  • Loading goods onto vehicles

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic education and understanding of maths
  • Previous working experience in manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of what company manufactures
  • Be able to work overtime as required
  • Works well as part of a team or on an individual basis
  • Methodical and attention to detail
  • Quality, Testing or Mechanical Background
  • Able to use tape measures, micrometers and verniers
  • FLT License
  • Able to work in imperial and metric measurement systems
