    About the OPPORTUNITY

    A rewarding and interesting role where you will:

  • Support the coordination, planning, development, and delivery of the Aged Care Programs for the Southwest region in accordance with the legislation and standards guidelines.
  • Provide clinical support at an advanced practice level to staff and client groups.
  • Coordinate regular South West aged care programs meetings for both clinical and program development purposes.
  • Provide education to relevant organisations, services and individuals regarding the principles and practices of care of older adults and the role of aged care programs within the region.
  • About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of residential and community aged care services and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability in caring for older adults and commitment to continuously improving quality of care.
  • Understanding of and demonstrated skills in assessment and care of people with dementia.
