The successful applicant will lead and manage variety of strategic improvement and transformation initiatives aligned with the pursuit of our Strategic Plans.

You will work on projects that enhance SP Energy Networks as an organisation and our customers experience, extracting the maximum value from business opportunities presented in the fulfilment of our regulatory obligations through RIIO-ED2 and RIIO-T2 price control periods and beyond.


_What you'll be doing_:


  • Drive strategic change in the organisation to achieve SPEN strategic goals
  • Lead assigned projects to successful delivery and achievement of benefits
  • Build relationships and manage stakeholders throughout the organisation
  • Lead and coach continuous improvement to improve business results
  • Champion innovation & look for opportunities to improve business performance
  • Facilitate and role model change supporting strategic business goals
  • Operate with agility to adapt to changing situations & business demands quickly
  • Lead people side of change using Prosci Change Management framework
  • Identify, establish and monitor performance measures to validate success
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain support and buyin
  • Develop Business Cases and identify key performance tracking metrics

_What you'll bring_:


  • Previously accredited or willing to work towards certifications as;
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and
  • Prosci Change Practitioner, and
  • Agile Scrum Master
  • Proven ability to implement change in a complex multinational organisation
  • Able to set stretch goals & deadlines aligned with business and customer priorities
  • Able to empower and encourage development of individuals and project teams and champion continuous improvement
  • Model professionalism and positive mindset; being transparent, ethical, authentic, honest and operating with integrity in all interactions
  • Collaborate across the business to build great teams with positive working relationships based on trust and mutual respect
  • Maintain a wide, diverse, inclusive network to help develop ideas and facilitate innovation to meet business goals
  • Approach problem solving with curiosity and an agile mindset, making decisions quickly and accurately to find innovative solutions aligned with business strategy
  • Proactive in seeking out opportunities, anticipating problems and implementing actions to mitigate risks.
  • Set and expect high standards of performance of self & others, using collaborative ways of working to ensure excellence in outputs.
  • Able to manage conflicting requirements and demonstrate resilience to deliver project outcomes and results within tight project deadlines
  • Familiar with the use of data and digitalisation to maximise operational efficiency
  • Commercial understanding or Financial awareness of business would be advantageous
  • Able to undertake occasional travel to other SP Energy Networks locations

_Minimum Criteria_:


  • Experience of leading business projects & managing stakeholders in a complex business
  • Demonstrable evidence of planning, organising, prioritising to deliver results on time
  • Use of Change Management, Agile, Lean Sigma, or other improvement methods
  • Leveraged resources outside of span of control, ideally within a large organisation
  • Degree qualified in Business, Engineering, Technical or related discipline or minimum 5yrs related business experience
