The pay rate would be up to £25 per hour depending on your location and this may be negotiable.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Discuss with the family/young person the referral that has been made and reasons for it, ask if there is anything else that we need to be made aware of.
  • Telephone follow up until allocation and undertake these.
  • Undertake home visits for those families you/Line Manager are concerned about.

Reed are now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.

  • Registered or in process of registration with Social Work England
  • A NQSW with statutory placement in Children
  • Access to/use of a vehicle and UK Driving License
