Job Overview

As The BMJ's editorial registrar you'll join the BMJ's editorial team in a one year full-time role that has been running since 1989.

You'll work predominantly with the research and education teams at the BMJ helping to appraise, commission, and edit content for these sections.

You will support the BMJ's sustainability work and have opportunities to work on our analysis content, write opinions, features, and news stories, lead on special interest collections, and take part in podcasts.

Under the supervision of our clinical editors, you'll immerse yourself in the weekly activity of a leading medical journal.

You will learn how to commission and edit articles, manage peer review, navigate authors' conflicts of interest, and curate content for our international online and UK print audiences.

The role would be ideal for anyone early on in their clinical career who, like the BMJ, is passionate about helping doctors and patients make better decisions together - influencing debate and policy globally to create a healthier world for everyone.
