    Are you a Property Claims Handler currently seeking a new opportunity?

    Our client are one of the fastest growing insurers in the UK, a Norwegian based company who expanded to the UK in 2015 and have grown rapidly in the last 8 years. On the back of some great success and huge growth, they are looking to recruit a Property Claims Handler to expand their team at their head office in Spinningfields in Manchester City Centre.

    As a Property Claims Handler, you will become a crucial member of their growing Claims Team and will be responsible for handling clients' Property Claims on a cradle to grave basis.

    Internal and External relationships are key to the success of the business; therefore, it is extremely important that you are a good team player as well as being very client focused, organised and ensure a first in class service is provided at all times.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Handling Property Claims on behalf of clients, from initial call through to settlement.
    • Managing your own varied caseload of claims, through telephone and written communication.
    • Ensuring a consistent, first in class service is provided to all parties.
    • Questioning, interview and probing where necessary to get the right result.
    • Acting as the point of contact for both policyholders and brokers.

    Skills And Experience Required:

    • Experience in handling Property Claims is essential, with experience either in a commercial role or a good background in dealing with domestic property claims.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
    • Good time management skills are essential as well as being a well organised individual.
    • Being confident in your own ability and good decision making is immensely important along with having a highly professional demeanour.
    • A good team worker, able to work collaboratively with others both internally and externally.
