    Description
    Mechanical (Systems) Engineer - Medical Devices - London

    I am working with a cutting-edge medical device start-up based in the heart of London that specializes in developing microfluidic medical devices.

    Due to exciting growth, the company is looking to hire a talented mechanical engineer responsible for hardware development. The role involves collaborating with other mechanical and electronics engineers on systems design.
    Be responsible for product hardware development, collaborating with mechatronic and electronics engineers
    # Design, test, and develop prototypes using 3D CAD
    # Help take product prototypes through to manufacture
    # Python programming and documentation writing
    # Liaise and manage relations between suppliers and contractors

    At least two to five years' experience with developing complex electro-mechanical, mechatronics, or robotics systems within the medical device industry
    ~ Industry experience in both mechanical and electronics domains (mechatronics or robotics experience would be highly advantageous)
    ~3D CAD experience, ideally using SolidWorks
    ~ Industry experience within medical device or biotech start-ups is advantageous as you will be operating within a small, dynamic, and fast-paced team
    ~ A degree in mechanical engineering or a similar qualification
