    Description

    The Company

    The Role

    In this position, you will manage a dedicated section of the purchase ledger, handling tasks from initiation to completion, including assisting in payment processing. Collaborating with another experienced Purchase Ledger clerk, you will primarily focus on UK invoices initially, with future training to incorporate more intricate foreign invoices. Responsibilities involve supplier setup, invoice scanning, matching and coding, reconciling purchase order quantities and prices, aligning goods received with invoices, facilitating supplier statement reconciliations, managing staff expenses, conducting general finance admin, and meeting monthly deadlines.     Requirements

    • Experience handling high-volume transactions is essential, particularly within a sizeable ERP system.
    • Proficiency in manufacturing with a demonstrable understanding of goods receipt and stock is necessary, as discrepancies between received goods and invoices are common and must be resolved prior to payment approval.
