    Job Purpose

    As an Apprenticeship Tutor, your role is to design, support, and deliver superior, personalised learning experiences in both online and face-to-face settings. Your mission will be to empower learners to achieve their maximum potential through transformative education that champions equality, diversity, and inclusion.

    Role Responsibilities

    1. Provide exceptional teaching and learning both remotely and in-person (approximately 20% face-to-face, mainly in the London area), tailored to individual learner needs in alignment with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
    2. Assist learners in enhancing their maths and English capabilities, offering effective instruction, mentoring, and direction to specialised support based on individual requirements.
    3. Collaboratively plan learning programmes with learners and their supervisors, ensuring consistent progress.
    4. Conduct Functional Skills education and support tailored to learner needs.
    5. Guarantee that off-the-job teaching, training, and learning are aligned with individual learner needs.
    6. Offer comprehensive Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to support learners' progression and awareness of their options throughout their learning journey.
    7. Maintain constructive relationships with employers, providing regular updates on learner progress.
    8. Keep precise and current learner records in compliance with ESFA regulations and conduct audits to ensure full conformity with funding and inspection standards.
    9. Monitor and enhance apprenticeship progress to foster better outcomes and workplace integration.
    10. Implement training workshops as necessary, ensuring employer, apprentice, and stakeholder feedback informs planning and continuous improvement.
    11. Prepare learners for endpoint assessments in accordance with curriculum requirements, ensuring compliance with Ofqual, awarding bodies, and Ofsted standards.
    12. Participate in standardisation activities and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and teaching practices.
    Requirements
    • Deep commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.
    • Qualified in the appropriate occupational competences, with up-to-date industry knowledge.
    • Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths, with robust IT skills.
    • Experience in training, teaching, or coaching, with a strong foundation in building professional relationships.
    • Proven ability to motivate, operate independently, and manage a demanding workload effectively.
    • Willingness to travel within the London area for face-to-face learner engagement and undergo a DBS check prior to employment.
    Desirable Attributes
    • At least 2 years of experience in delivering and assessing work-based learning programmes and apprenticeships.
    • Expertise in providing information, advice, and guidance, with excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
    • A personable and collaborative approach, able to work under pressure and commit to continuous professional development.
