    Nelson Permanent Placements is collaborating with a leading property and infrastructure support services company offering facilities management and building services to large blue chip clients across the FMCG, manufacturing and Food & Bev sectors.

    Reliability Engineer

    As the Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for the growth of Reliability focused activities across various sites.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Undertake diverse reliability support tasks within our Reliability Department, blending practical and analytical approaches.
    • Gather and scrutinize data on equipment performance, failure occurrences, and maintenance history.
    • Devise and implement engineering solutions and enhanced maintenance strategies based on gathered insights to address challenges effectively.
    • Identify and address failure modes across production assets through focused initiatives and enhancements.
    • Foster close collaboration with onsite CBM data collectors to ensure seamless delivery of the Condition Based Monitoring program and identify avenues for energy conservation.
    • Track and present Site KPI metrics, conducting thorough analysis and reporting of CMMS data.
    • Ensure precise alignment of CMMS work order management with operational activities and objectives.
    • Implement Asset Care strategies, leveraging CMMS data to prevent failures and refine existing maintenance approaches.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Strong grasp of Lubrication Principles.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining and improving mechanical and electrical equipment and services.
    • Solid background in industrial maintenance engineering, encompassing Reliability techniques like Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
    • Client-centric mindset to represent the company and the group professionally and effectively.
    • Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Word and Excel).
    • Advantageous experience with CMMS systems.
    • Familiarity with various equipment, including high-speed centrifuge machines, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, pneumatic transfer systems, alignment tools, mechanical strainers, centrifugal and PD pumps.

    Specific Qualifications:

    • Relevant Electrical/Mechanical qualifications (e.g., C&G/NVQ/HNC).
    • Understanding of Condition Monitoring Techniques (vibration, acoustic, thermography).
