    Contracts Sales Manager

    Location: Leeds (Hybrid)

    Package: £40k (Negotiable) + Car + Bonus + Benefits

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a self-motivated Contract Sales Manager with a proven track record in trade sales to drive growth through sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with trade buyers, negotiating contracts, and optimising sales performance. Exceptional sales and customer relationship building skills are essential, along with the drive to exceed challenging sales targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing and Executing B2B Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective B2B sales strategies to drive growth in the trade sector.
    • Managing and Nurturing Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with trade buyers, including large hotel chains, university halls of residence, holiday parks, care homes, hospices and cruise lines.
    • Negotiating and Finalising Contracts: Lead negotiations and finalise contracts with trade partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Sales Data Analysis: Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
    • Lead Generation: Focus on lead generation activities to expand the trade customer base and increase market penetration.

    Qualifications

    • Experience of developing furniture trade sales agreements and building supplier contracts is preferred.
    • Minimum of 4 years of high-achieving B2B trade sales experience.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly assimilate commercial information.
    • Proficiency in developing and understanding commercial models.
    • Experience of selling and engaging with sector client targets.
    • Capability to acquire in-depth product knowledge.
    • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in Google Workplace, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • A 'hunter' mentality for identifying and securing new business opportunities.
