    Contract Manager

    London or Manchester

    Duration: 12 Month FTC

    Role

    We're looking for an experienced Contract Manager who is commercially focused and uses their initiative to drive results from the supply chain and leads on contract negotiations which drives the best value for money.

    The Contract Management Team are responsible for the management of DCCs strategic, high value and complex contracts from contract signature to end of life. The team ensures that the suppliers deliver the value, quality, and compliance in line with the contract and performance obligations as set out. The team manage in-life change to our existing contracts.

    What will you be doing?

    Using operational reporting to hold to account the commercial performance obligations relating to SLA/KPIs, manage contract disputes, oversee contract amendment processes, and lead contract closeout process.

    Managing delivery of contracts in scope, identifying, and managing contract related risks and issues, and implementing contract changes

    Supporting commercial stakeholders with market insights from knowledge gained from contracted suppliers.

    What are we looking for?

    A commercial aware Contract Manager with experience in driving and managing the governance and compliance to contracts.

    The ideal candidate will have a background in Telecommunications and would be advantageous to have knowledge of either the Energy or Financial Sectors.

    A solution driven, innovator, cost and value led individual. With working knowledge of the key principles of Contract Management.

    Someone with strong reporting skills familiar with tools such as Jira, Salesforce, and Kanban

    Ability to create process mapping, plus own processes, being a champion or touchpoint for the department.

    Strong attention to details and proven ability to work in an open / auditable way fitting to a regulated environment.
