gap technical are proud to be representing this market leading manufacturing business in their search for a Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder
Performance Objectives
MIG & TIG welding on various metal components and structures.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine welding specifications.
Setting up welding equipment and selecting appropriate welding techniques based on the project requirements.
Fabricating and assembling metal parts using welding techniques.
Use of power tools and hand tools to prepare materials for welding.
Proficient in MIG/TIG welding techniques
Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and welding metal.
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
Apprentice Trained with 5 years + Experience of Sheet Metal Fabrication
