    Company DescriptionInternational Students House (ISH) is a residential, social and cultural centre for international and British students in central London.

    We provide scholarships opportunities, a safe home, and a social program to enable students to succeed while giving them a place to belong.

    We aim to create an international community that helps to build better societies. Our facilities include One Park Crescent, 229 The Venue, our bars and restaurant.
    This is an exciting time to join us. In August 2023, we procured additional student accommodation for the House. Over the next 24 months, a new purpose-built ISH accommodation will be constructed on the site based in Kennington.
    Role DescriptionThis is a voluntary hybrid role for a Trustee with International Students House.

    The Trustee will be responsible for overseeing the management of the organisation, ensuring financial stability, and helping to develop strategic plans for the future.

    Trustee meetings are held quarterly and involve reviewing reports, discussing ISH's current performance and its future objectives, and ensuring the organisation is operating within its legal, regulatory, and ethical responsibilities.

    The position is located in London, with flexibility for some remote work.
