Oakwell Children's Nursery is a fantastic nursery looking after children from birth to attending Primary School.

In partnership with West Lothian Council we offer pre-school funding which in turn regulates a very high standard of delivery.

We are currently recruiting a passionate, hardworking and experienced Early Years/Nursery Practitioner to join our fantastic team at Oakwell Children's Nursery on a full-time basis in the role of Forest School leader.

You would benefit from working your hours over 4 days with a Friday off each week. The role would be working with our pre-school children (3-5 year olds) and based outdoors.

The successful practitioner will have the following qualifications, training and experience:

Minimum HNC/SVQ3 in a relevant childcare qualification and registered with SSSC.
Minimum 3 years experience in a childcare setting.
Experience of working in an outdoor environment is desirable.
Experience of planning, observations and assessments.
A good sound knowledge of Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence and GIRFEC.

Salary:
New Living Wage

Working Pattern: 40 hours spread out over 4 days, with 1 day off per week (Friday). Hours will be 8am-6pm Monday-Thursday.

£11.00-£13.00 per hour
