Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Team Leader on a permanent full-time basis, based in the Holywood area with a salary of £25,000 - £29,000 per year and staff benefits.

This role will be based in our client's Adult Day Services Centre, where you'll directly be involved in the development of social skills via a wide range of activities and learning opportunities.

• Fri, 9 am to 5 pm shift pattern.

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will: Assist in providing high standards of care and support including personal care to adults with complex needs, and challenging behaviours.

Assist in providing meaningful activities in an outdoor environment. Supervise and mentor the team within the Day Services offering.


Requirements:
QCF Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and 6 months experience in a support/caring setting. GCSE Maths and English

• C grade minimum.

1-year minimum experience in a support/care setting. Comfortable with personal care and working with challenging behaviours. Excellent communication skills; verbal and written. Ability to work as part of a team and to work under pressure. Able to work shifts that include evenings, weekends and unsocial hours.
