    An opportunity has arisen for a junior solicitor (newly qualified to 2 years PQE) to join Thrings' Commercial Dispute Resolution team with the flexibility of hybrid office and home working.

    This role is a permanent position based out of our Bristol office, which is located at the heart of the Bristol commercial centre and close to the Bristol Civil Courts.

    Your role will be to provide high quality dispute resolution and litigation advice and services to the firm's clients who engage with us to pursue, defend and resolve their commercial disputes. Working under the supervision of a highly regarded CDR Partners and forming part of the firm's wider cross-office CDR team you will get involved in a variety of commercially orientated disputes including:

  • Commercial contract disputes
  • Shareholder and director disputes
  • Intellectual Property disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Contentious Probate disputes
  • Mediation and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • You will be expected to support the CDR Team and the wider firm in business development initiatives to promote the services of the Firm.

    In order to be our next CDR Solicitor, you will have some prior commercial litigation experience, and you will need to demonstrate that you have excellent analytical and legal research skills, you can think proactively and laterally in order to anticipate and solve our client's legal problems, and be able to formulate well-reasoned, logical and sound arguments and conclusions. You will be able to show us that you are a confident communicator, both orally and in writing, who can adapt their communication style to different audiences.
