Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Junior Project Officer on behalf of a leading bank based in Belfast.

The Junior Project Officer will be rewarded with a hourly rate of upto £38 on an initial 4 month contrat.


Description:


The role will be to support the Program Manager and other PMs with PMO related tasks in delivering the Standardised Approach for calculating CVA capital (SA-CVA) under FRTB revised standards.

This will be a high visibility role sitting within front office andwill involve interaction with stakeholders from different levels.

The role will act as the central PMO for the project responsible for managing and staying on top of all project related artefacts such as the project plan, RAID logs, collating stakeholderproject updates, updating an inventory of status reports and trackers.

Additional PM level responsibilities will include independent leading various workstreams and deep-dive workshops to support evolving project priorities.

Responibilities:

  • Good stakeholder engagement skillset, confident and able to clear communicate with audience
  • Delivery focused, well organised, disciplined and has a proactive approach to working
  • Ability to chair and lead meetings with multiple stakeholders, drive agenda items and take meeting minutes
  • Experience in supporting multifaceted projects from the project initiation phase right through to project completion. Experience as outright PM on top of PMO would be extremely advantageous
  • Good understanding of the Project Management life cycle and can demonstrate experience in implementing
- project governance standards and producing/managing documentation such as project planning, scoping, RAID management

  • Experience of supporting change within Risk (market/credit/operational) would be a plus, but not must have
  • Knowledge of the trade life cycle
  • Experience of collaborating with trading/front office, Risk Management and Technology support teams


  • Strong presentation skills

  • MS Office skills especially PowerPoint, MS Project
  • Selfstarter, but is also a good team player
