    Overview:

    Ourclient provides a comprehensive fabrication service covering theentire process from 3D CAD design to final delivery. They possesssignificant expertise in designing and fabricating sheet metalworkfor a wide range of industries and markets including signagepointofsale products and architectural metalwork like railingsgates balconies garden structures staircases balustrades handrailsplatforms and walkways.

    JobDescription:

    In this role youllcollaborate closely with the Operations Manager Design Manager andthe fabrication team. Reporting directly to the Managing Directoryour primary responsibility will be to secure profitable businessboth from existing customers and potential new clients bydeveloping a good relationship identifying their requirements andestimating and submitting competitive bids. Youll be mainly workingfrom the Factory offices but also inperson visits tocustomers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilizeknowledge of laser cutting press brake welding and powdercoating.
    • Apply expertise inmetals and materialspurchasing.
    • Implement salesprocesses to secure profitable businessopportunities.
    • Demonstrate acomprehensive understanding of fabrication processes methodsmaterials and regulations particularly in laser cutting press brakeoperations welding and powdercoating.
    • Estimate projectcosts accurately by evaluating the time and materials required forfabrication tasks.
    • UtilizeIT proficiency including ERP programs such asStatii.


    Qualifications
    :

    • Provenexperience as a sales & costingestimator.
    • IT proficiencyincluding ERP programs such asStatii.
    • Aburning desire to succeed and become an integral member of theteam.
    • Good organizationalcommunication and negotiationskills.
    • Strong communicationand negotiationskills.
    • Commercial awarenessability to work independently and meetdeadlines.
    • Strongunderstanding of fabrication processes especially in metalwork andsteelworks.
    • Knowledge ofbend relief and metal stretchingrequirements.
    • Proficiencywith sheet metals including steel aluminum stainless steel andother signagematerials.
    • Confidence inphone communication as (10% of the role) will be new business callsand 90% will be managing relationships with existingcustomers.


    WorkingHours:

    • 40hours per week from 7 AM to 3:30PM

    AdditionalInformation:

    • Target:Achieve 50000 in deal revenue. (Individual customer deals may varyin revenue from 170k to200k)
    • Customers:Serve customers in the local areas surrounding the office includingDerbyshire Nottinghamshire andLeicestershire.
    • Travel:Engage in 10% customer visits and 90% officebased work. A companyvan will be provided for customervisits.
