    The Role – Vice President, Global Design OpsMarks is hiring a Vice President, Global Design Operations. This will be a hybrid or remote position.

    This role will provide leadership for Financial and Studio Operations Function across the agency:
    Revenue reporting, forecasting and financial policy compliance. Cost control, reporting and monitoring. Studio location strategy and management. Data analytics and interpretation to give management performance insight.

    You will be the go-to authority for agency operations matters: Partner with Leadership and Finance to set and record agency budgets, targets and objectives.

    Set the methodology for tracking and reporting against agency objectives and targets with Central Function colleagues (IT, HR, Finance, Legal).

    ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership for Financial and Studio Operations Function across the agency:
    Revenue reporting, forecasting and financial policy complianceCost control, reporting and monitoringStudio location strategy and managementData analytics and interpretation to give management performance insightYou will be the go-to authority for agency operations matters:Partner with Leadership and Finance to set and record agency budgets, targets and objectives

    Set the methodology for tracking and reporting against agency objectives and targets with Central Function colleagues (IT, HR, Finance, Legal).

    Work across our agency functions, defining and delivering our forecasting methodology.
    Manage the production of reports, using the data to produce insight that informs better decision-making.

    Lead Leadership and Management meetings in respect of cost control and governance (eg Monthly Operating Reviews, Labour Cost Management, Freelance Budget Control...)Collaborate with IT and Development colleagues to identify and correct needs within our chosen Financial and Project Management tools in respect of the above.

    Collaborate with Leadership, real estate and finance to ensure the agency has a clearly defined physical studio footprint strategy, enabling your team to bring the strategy to lifeAcross your teams you will:

    Maximize engagement with our chosen Finance and Project Management toolCoach, mentor and manage reports against clear objectives, aligned to the agency strategyEnsure the team follow company and HR policy, including Heath & Safety requirementsCandidate Experience & Skills Requirements15+ years experience within Agency environments, including prior experience of leading Agency Operations or Financial Management functions.

    Demonstrated understanding of P&L management and finance best practice.
    The ability to partner with Development colleagues in integrating Financial Management and Operations software to deliver agency needs.
    Demonstrated ability to create and drive change within a complex matrix-organization.
    Empathy and understanding for the Client Service, Project Management and Producer functions in an Agency setting.
    Strong MS Office skills (Excel in particular).
