You Will:

  • Closely monitor key HS&W performance indicators, ensuring that Operations are wellinformed regarding the contracts HS&W performance against these (both contractual and Skanska driven KPI's)
  • Engage with key external stakeholders to influence positive change, demonstrating Skanska's 'care for life' values and ambition to be the best
  • Support operational team with the development and maintenance of Construction Phase Plans / Project Execution Plans
  • Advising the operational team on the effective management of subcontractors
  • Communicate effectively (accurate, relevant, and timely) with line manager, particularly regarding the escalation of accidents and incidents
  • Identify, promote and coordinate carbon reduction initiatives to meet targets
  • Support the operational team in accident / incident investigations in accordance with Skanska procedure.

We're looking for:

  • Previous experience in facilities management/ building services/ construction arena
  • Hold a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate and be willing to develop further I.e., compete NEBOSH Diploma
  • IOSH Membership I.e., Tech IOSH
  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate
  • Auditing qualification
