- Assisting the team with general environmental management duties
- Carrying out environmental inspections on site, whilst maintaining the inspection programme
- Contributing to the provision of environmental awareness training
- Collating environmental and sustainability data to report to the business division and Kier Group
- Monitoring and analysing energy, waste and water use on site, ensuring we adhere to environmental regulations and legislation
- attending university during pre-determined day release to attend lectures and meet other students on your course
- GCSE English Language and Maths Level 4 or above
- 104 UCAS Points from a minimum of 2 A-Levels or equivalent BTEC Level 3 qualifications (No specific subjects required)

Description
We're looking for an Environmental Degree Apprentice to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Bridgwater, Somerset, working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship as an Environmental Practitioner.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £18,525 per annum – With an earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course
Start date: Summer 2024
How does a degree apprenticeship work?
As an Environmental Degree Apprentice you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BSc with our university partner, UWE Bristol, all tuition fees covered by us.
You'll work closely with our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team to design, build and maintain vital infrastructure across water, energy, and telecoms sectors.
