Description
We're looking for aStores Person to join our Natural Resources team based in Ipswich.
Within this role you'll be integral to the smooth running of Anglian Water services, ensuring the team have the correct resources to carry out their jobs.
Location:
Sproughton depot, Ipswich
Contract:
Permanent, part time 22.5 hours per week, working hours and days can be flexible.
There will also be the requirement to increase your hours to cover holiday absences, all additional hours will be paid.
- You will also be required to participate in the out of hours standby rota, currently 1 in every 4 weeks to be able to take phone calls to order parts, although this is rare. Payment for which is covered in your salary unless covering for a colleague, in which case additional payments will be made._
Responsibilities
As a
Stores Person, you will be working on our Anglian Water Alliance in the Kings Lynn store to be responsible for the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
Your day to day will include:
- Operating heavy plant and equipment & manual handling
- Ordering / issuing consumables
- Receipt, storage and dispatch of stock
- Daily plant, site and stock checks
- Maintenance and housekeeping of stores and site
