Slough Vets4Pets has relocated and we are now looking for a vet to join our expanding team in our new practiceSituated inside one of our new concept Pets at Home stores, our practice is designed to deliver not only the highest clinical standards - but also a pleasant working environment for the whole team.
Working alongside our skilled vet and nursing team, as well as a first-rate practice support team, our practice can offer you the environment, caseload and equipment needed to utilise the skills you have gained to date whilst also giving you plenty of opportunity to develop further, with support for postgraduate qualifications, CPD and training in your areas of interest.
We can build a full or part time work pattern to suit your commitments outside of work and can be as flexible as you need during the week.
Weekends are on a rota basis with limited cover to keep it fair for everyone, and there's no OOHs. Ideally you should have small animal experience gained as a general practitioner, and great people skills.You will be comfortable with occasional sole charge but will also relish being part of a team, working towards the same vision of providing gold standard care to the local community and their pets.
Based on the Farnham Road in Slough, Berkshire, the practice has great transport links being located between the M4, M40 and the M25, and with local bus stops nearby.
There is an excellent rail link into the centre of London. Onward links from there go to the rest of the country and the heart of Europe.Slough is also within a 10 minute drive of Heathrow Airport and is only 45 minutes drive from Gatwick Airport, making it the perfect location for get aways, or trips home during your time off.
Along with a salary of up to £65,000, we offer all the benefits you'd expect from a major employer (pension, healthcare, paid memberships etc.) plus a few more, such as excellent career progression and exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts (up to 30% off at Pets at Home).
We're also happy to provide Rental subsidies and relocation packages from within or outside the UK, including visa sponsorship if wanted (we're an A+ rated sponsor).
