Ty Gobaith Life House provides transitional supported accommodation, residential detox and intensive support service for individuals who are homeless and in need.


We are looking to recruit an
Administrator who is motivated and able to keep accurate records with a genuine desire to support our Residents and staff teams.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Understand and work within the Mission and Values of The Salvation Army acting in a professional and ethical way at all times when representing the organisation.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation relating to employee wages issues are completed and forwarded to the appropriate departments
  • Complete all necessary statistical returns as required
  • Supervise all handling of cash for banking and petty cash and ensure all accounting records are properly maintained in accordance with recognised procedures
  • Ensure all relevant benefits are being received for clients and available grants for the Lifehouse
  • Manage a team of Admin Assistants and work as part of overall service team to ensure the most effective use of financial and other resources
A good communicator, with some knowledge and understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness.

You will have a sound knowledge of managing administrative systems and budget control with the ability to operate within professional boundaries and be able to work in sympathy with the aims and ethos of The Salvation Army.
