As a
Trade Counter Assistant (Customer Service) , this is what your day-to-day will look like and how your contribution will add value to our business, in addition to some extra relevant tasks as required:

  • Developing sales of core and specialist products
  • Follow up sales leads from colleagues, key suppliers and other partners
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the business, suppliers and customers
  • Provide excellent customer service to a wide variety customers and tradespeople
  • Build rapport with customers and proactively generate sales through the sales
  • Receive deliveries from suppliers, ensure quantities are correct and undamaged, and resolve any deviations
We are looking for the following characteristics and skills from the
Trade Counter Assistant (Customer Service) we employ.

  • Flooring product knowledge
  • Commercial acumen
  • IT literate
  • Experience in a Sales Administrator or Support Agent role (or similar)
  • CRM software and MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Track record of having met and exceeded sales targets
  • Customer service best practices
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Adaptive communication
  • Confidence and selfmotivation
  • Accurate and up to date sharing of product and service information
  • Ability to remain calm and conducive during stressful situations

Salary:
£20,000.00-£26,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
