**Are you looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role to start asap ?

**Are you looking for a long term role with the possibility for a permanent position after the end of the academic year?


This
Primary school, not far away from
Harborne is looking for a
Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with
Autism to join their team ASAP untill the end of the Academic Year.


This position is a full time position Monday - Friday, term time only working pm


The role will be working in their
Year 1 class with a child with Autism f This position would suit a qualified Teaching Assistant with SEN experience who wants to feel rewarded in their role and has a calm and warm approach to the child.

This role will require a TA who can be physically active as the pupil likes to be on the move all the time.

Full training will be given to support the child and assist him to access the curriculum in class.

The child has mild Autism and will require a 1:1 support who will patient, caring, supportive and encouraging.

The child has very supportive parents who are keen to assist the school by talking new techniques home to try to augment his progress in school.


The successful
Teaching assistant will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and will be comfortable talking to parents, staff and visitors to the school.

Experience working in a Primary School would be advantageousbut not essential, however you will need to have experience working with children in another capacity.


The role:

- £80 - £90
