    We are seeking to recruit a Senior Health and Safety Consultant to join our team.

    AtkinsRéalis is renowned for the expertise, experience, and excellence of its people - we place great emphasis on succession planning and training.

    You would be based out of our London office but also have the opportunity to work from our other offices in London and the Southeast.

    Our clients are varied throughout the South of England so a typical working week would include managing your diary to be on client sites, in the office where you are based, working from home or other offices.

    We are looking for a collaborative and motivated H&S CDM Consultant to deliver a quality service for our clients.

    Working with designers to carry out Health and Safety design reviews and advising them accordingly in line with legislation and best practice.

    Reviewing RA/MS, carrying out accident investigation, H&S Policy and procedure writing and other H&S services.
    Being able to deliver H&S and CDM training.
    Learning and applying quality assurance principles.

    Other beneficial qualities include:
    Experience of H&S training.
    Experience – Complex Infrastructure or Nuclear experience desirable
    A sound technical Health & Safety knowledge, ideally applicable to the construction industry.
    A proactive attitude and a willingness to seek guidance on occasions from senior colleagues.
    A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software packages.
    The ability to work concurrently on a portfolio of projects.
    A background in NEBOSH Construction Certificate qualified.
    Appropriate CSCS Card.
    UK Driving Licence.

    AtkinsRéalis H&S services team wrote and deliver a bespoke Principal Designer and Design Risk Management training course that is accredited by both APS and IOSH.

    We would be very interested to speak to candidates who would be keen to be part of our training delivery team.

    This is not a full time training role and we are looking for people who are able to use their experiences from delivering the requirements of CDM within a classroom environment to pass on knowledge and skills to others alongside their regular project roles.

    To meet IOSH accredited trainer requirements we are looking for people who hold an NVQ Level 3 Award in Education & Training (PTLLS or equivalent) and also those who can demonstrate delivery of training over a period of 2 years.

    The training experience does not need to be CDM specific or full time but should demonstrate the ability to develop/present and communicate the subject and measure success by examination and/or assessment.
