GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANTS


A number of opportunities have arisen for Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a Good Academy in the borough of Newham.

Graduate Teaching Assistant

You will be working alongside a very supportive team who work very hard to ensure that each and every student is encouraged to reach their individual potential.

You will be required to provide support, at an outstanding level, for pupils, teachers, and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils.

The school are ideally looking to recruit Maths, Science and English Graduates as you will bebased within the respective departments.

Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis, you will work closely with the class teachers to identify areas in which students require additional support.

You will also have the opportunity work very closelywith the SENDCO to ensure that all children are given the required support to ensure they are reaching their individual goals.

This is a great opportunity to begin your career within education at a very successful Academy. The Academy are looking for a numberof Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team, to start ASAP. They would require you to be able to commit for the full academic year.

The right applicant for this Graduate Teaching Assistant position will:

  • Be Degree qualified (Maths, Science and English desirable)
  • Be keen to go on to complete your teaching qualification
  • Have a passion for helping young people excel
  • Have experience working with secondary school aged students _(Preferable)_
