Accounts Assistant

Location:
Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire - Office based


Salary:
£26,000 to £32,000


Employment type:
Full-time, Permanent

A new opportunity has just arisen with one of our well-regarded clients based in Welwyn Garden City. They are an industry leadingdistributor who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role will be heavily focused on theSales Ledger side, and they be a temp to perm start.


Your main responsibilities:


  • Posting Invoices, Cash Receipts and Payments
  • Bank reconciliations for four companies
  • Reconciling Sales Ledger Receipts
  • Reconciling Purchase Ledger Accounts
  • Adhoc Filing and Spreadsheet work

Your skills and attributes:


  • Proficient user of Sage (preferably Sage 200)
  • Someone who will take initiative and has drive
  • Experience with Sales and Purchase ledger
  • Knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheets
