The Kitchen Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the production pastry kitchen at Smart Patisserie U.K in Park Royal.

This role requires a hardworking individual who can assist with some basic food preparation tasks and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.

• Keep the production pastry kitchen clean and hygienic by washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces.
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials according to company policies and regulations.
• Assist with basic food preparation, such as peeling, chopping, and washing fruits amongst other light duties.
• Ensure ingredients, tools, and equipment are available and clean for the pastry production team.
• Follow proper storage and handling procedures for ingredients to minimize waste.
• Help set up and organise workstations during the production process.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment by sweeping, mopping, and emptying waste.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and wearing protective clothing.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the executive chef or kitchen management.

• Previous experience in a similar role within a production kitchen is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive in maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts.
