Description

A vibrant work life balance focused Consultancy company is seeking an Associate Fire Consultant to manage a close nit team of two ready to grow and expand the fire safety strategy side of the business.

The associate Fire Consultant will run audits on large,complex fire projects with works being carried out across Yorkshire.

A clear progression plan has been set for the right Associate Fire Consultant to rise the ranks and develop a variety of fire risk and design projects.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with Fire Safety Systems /BS9999 / EWS1/ PAS98
  • Minimum 5 years' experience of working on fire projects
  • Minimum 2 years' managing teams
  • Minimum 2 years' experience mentoring graduate/fire engineers
  • A Fire Design/ Building Surveyor Background
  • An Accredited Fire Membership

Responsibilities

  • Associate Fire Consultant responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assist in the development of fee proposals for large and complex projects
  • Management of a team of senior/fire Risk Assessors/graduate fire Assessors & Engineers
  • Management of health and safety (including mental wellbeing) of team in their work activities
  • Delivery and support of the delivery of large, complex projects
  • Managing relationships with large clients
  • Dissemination of knowledge of latest developments in fire design legislation and techniques
  • Team performance management and reporting
  • Mentoring and management of team members
  • Peer review of other engineers' strategies and reports
  • Winning work
