Operations Manager

Operations Manager - Job Responsibilities:
- Operations, budgets, project delivery and strategy
- Balance objectives and goals
- Managing the Warehouse Manager, and Warehouse Team
- Processing the paperwork for goods in and out, UK and International
- Receiving and dispatching goods on the Sage 200 system
- Stock Control and inventory checks
- Liaising with our suppliers and our mills in Europe
- Staff Management, coaching and performance management
- Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met
- Ensuring staff working on processes are happy and operating efficiently
- Production and Planning, shifts and labour deployment
- Monitor, analyse, and improve the production systems
- Quality control
- Manage the company fleet
- Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Risk assessments
- Supporting all functions of the business to work together effectively
- Maintain operational policies, procedures, and strategies
- Drive productivity, profitability, and customer service levels
- **You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Ideally have a management qualification such as ILM or CMI Level
- Have a strong Operational Management background
- Experience with undertaking business improvements and cost savings
- Hold a recognised health and safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
- Experience of MRP, ERP or Sage systems.
