    Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer - Commercial Projects

    Salary/Package - £65,000 - £70,000 Basic + Car + Healthcare + Bonus + Private Pension + More

    Location - Slough ( Hybrid role )

    Permanent Position


    My client is an LPCB Level 4 accredited Fire Sprinkler organisation operating mainly throughout the South East of the UK.

    They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer with LPCB Basic exam as a minimum completed to join their growing team.

    With this position you will be given full autonomy on your working day and week. The position will play an integral role in further growth and ambition of the company.


    As a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing designs for automatic fire sprinkler systems that meet the required standards, codes, and regulations for commercial properties in the UK.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Designing and planning fire sprinkler systems in accordance with the relevant codes and standards
    Reviewing project specifications and requirements to determine the most appropriate design solutions
    Carrying out site surveys and liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all design requirements are met
    Producing detailed design drawings, hydraulic calculations, and technical reports
    Conducting risk assessments and providing technical advice on fire safety
    Providing support to the installation and commissioning teams as required


    Key Requirements:
    LPCB Basic Exam completed
    Extensive experience in designing and planning automatic fire sprinkler systems
    Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards
    Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software ( Canute )
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
    Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    Full driving license
