Trainee Production Programmer required for a permanent, full time role within a busy and fast paced site in Henstridge, BA8

• £23,800 - £28,000 per annum, depending on prior experience
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
• Own transport is needed as public transport is not an option to get to the site
• 20 minutes commute by car from Wincanton, Shaftsbury, Mere, Gillingham, Sherborne
• No weekend working
• Casual dress code

About the role

• Learning to create and modify CNC programmes, including manual programming of customer drawings
• Understanding basic 2D cad skills to check NC files
• Managing the scheduling of CNC machines and checking progression throughout the day
• Quoting sections/fittings and lead times
• Liaising with the Sales department to ensure customer delivery dates can be achieved
• Liaising with the Purchasing department on non-stock requirements
• Maintaining accurate records

• Desire to gain experience in programming CNC machines and CAD
