In the UK over 200 million tonnes of waste are sent to our Landfills and incinerators each year, and this business is doing their part to change that.

A key player in the Waste to Energy industry, they currently divert over 1 million tonnes of waste from landfills each year and use it to generate energy.

They've expanded massively over the last few years, doubling their headcount and now have a number of plants, and they are looking for an EC&I Technician at their Boston plant.

You will be responsible for carrying out corrective and preventive work on their electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.

This is a fantastic chance for an EC&I Technician to work for a business that is doing its part to turn our waste into usable energy, and kept away from toxic landfills.

Responsibilities:
Contribute to the maintenance, fault finding, and calibration of Instrumentation and control equipment.
Work within the CMMS to ensure maintenance records are accurate and up-to-date.
Be involved in project support and leading commissioning activities as needed.
Carry out preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Report equipment defects and suggest remediation options.


Necessary experience:
Strong knowledge of Electrical control and instrumentation systems.
Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
Experience with permit to work systems.
