Sourcing Officer - circa £32,348 per annum pro rata plus excellent benefits


The University of Central Lancashire has an exciting opportunity for a budding Procurement Professional to join their team on a 6 to 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

This opportunity will allow procurement professionals at the early stages of their career an opportunity to work with multiple categories of Sourcing whilst also being a key part of the Professional Services Category.

Be part of exciting projects whilst refining your procurement craft under the guidance of some of the public sectors best procurement professionals.


Who are you?

  • Experienced and exposed to Public Sector Procurement environments and requirements.
  • Experienced in supporting the delivery of multiple procurement projects
  • Experience in supporting negotiations with suppliers and monitoring contract and commercial terms.
  • Experienced in supporting Sourcing Managers deliver effective and results driven procurement's
  • Use of technology such as esourcing; finance systems and Microsoft packages
  • Studying towards CIPS Level 4 or an experienced Public Sector Procurement Professional
