    Orthopaedics - The James Cook University Hospital (JCUH) & Friarage Hospital (FHN). Working on Orthopaedics is likely to include 12noon-8pm shifts.

    Community Out-patient venues including One Life, Guisborough Primary Care Hospital (GPCH), East Cleveland Primary Care Hospital (ECPCH), Redcar Primary Care Hospital (RPCH) & FHN.

    Senior specialists, ESPs, clinical and operational leaders are always available to provide clinical support and supervision for each rotation.

    As a Senior Physiotherapist you will be encouraged to develop your skills and to supervise assistants and more junior staff and be involved in the clinical education of students.


    In this scenario Annex 21 of AFC would apply and applicants would commence on a band 5 salary and move to a band 6 on successful completion of a training programme and sign off of clinical competencies.

    We have a comprehensive In-Service Training Programme and staff are encouraged and supported in their continuous professional development.


    This post is suitable for Physiotherapists with relevant postgraduate experience and an interest to further develop their skills and knowledge in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

    It is one of the smallest district general hospitals in the country and has 189 inpatient beds.

    Qualifications & Training
    BSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy
    Achieved or willing to work towards relevant post-graduate qualification/ training

    Experience in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions
