Client Details
Our client is a well established Haulage business who require a Nights Transport Planner due to expansion.


Description

  • Working in a busy transport office you will be overseeing our customer collections / deliveries and ensuring everything runs to time on the night shift
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers drivers & subcontractors, communicating any issues in real time
  • Ability to adhere to drivers hours legislation and maintenance requirements.
  • Using your ability to prioritise workloads & excellent organisational skills to ensure our customer deadlines are always met

Profile

  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the awareness to escalate when required.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally & written
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • PC skills, knowledge of Mircosoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Ability to problem solve whilst remaining calm
  • Previous experience working in a logistics environment
