Description

What we do

We are a global leader in securities finance technologies with offices in major financial centers around the world, including New York, London, and Hong Kong as well as Tokyo, Boston, Dublin, Toronto, Pune and Chandigarh - a global company for global products.

EquiLend was formed in 2002 when a group of 10 global financial institutions joined together with a common goal of optimizing efficiency in the securities finance industry through global platforms for trading and post-trade services.

In 2021, EquiLend acquired a majority stake in Stonewain Systems which offers a system called Spire that enables securities finance market participants to manage their book of business on a single, comprehensive and integrated platform.

Rebranded as EquiLend Spire our solution can serve as a full front-to-back securities finance platform or be broken up into modules and commercialized as such.

The system is leveraged by market participants on all sides of the market.

EquiLend Spire is now the premiere securities finance system in the market by combining the processing strengths of Spire with the market-leading trading, data and post-trade tools of EquiLend.
